Design Services

NHS is committed to the research and development of housing that is cost-effective, utilizing modern, sustainable and green technologies. This research is utilized in the owner-occupied renovations our Construction Management staff oversees as well as NHS new construction.

NHS believes that good design should be accessible to everyone. 

The NHS Design/Build Center offers services to NHS customers including:  

• Individual design consultation: Let us help you with the layout and look of your home.
• Guidance in dealing with building code requirements, structural and architectural consultants, and planning/building department documentation. 
• Access to information about building materials and technologies that can help you make smart decisions about what is best for your budget and home.

The NHS Design Center also collaborates in community based projects with local and national partners:
