The Orientation Session is the first step in accessing the services of the Center. It's free and the meeting lasts approximately 45 minutes.

During the Orientation Session we will discuss the process involved in buying a house with the assistance of NHS, and the services we offer:

	Homebuyer Education
	Down Payment Assistance
	Affordable Loans
	Credit Re-Building
	And More!

At the end of the Orientation Session, you will provide us with a confidential Personal Profile. You can either pick up the form in advance, have it mailed to you, or print it from the link here. This will allow us to determine your readiness for homeownership and to gear our services to meet your needs. It also allows us to determine your eligibility for our income-based services. We will review your profile and schedule an appointment within a week.

Bring copies only of the following to the Orientation Session:

	Completed Personal Profile and Credit Report Authorization
	Last 2 Years Tax Returns - 1040 & W2 forms. If self-employed, 2 years tax returns and year to date profit & loss
	Proof of Income - 3 most recent pay stubs, Social Security Award Letter, or any other information that establishes your income
	$18.69 for single credit report and $19.38 for joint credit reports. All payments must be made in the form of a check or money order. Make check or money order payable to: NHS

Please do not bring children with you to Orientation.

Orientation sessions are held every Wednesday at 5:30 pm and Thursdays at 10:00 am except on Holidays at the NHS offices at the address below. Please call to confirm Orientation times for the week you're interested in. Orientation lasts 20-45 minutes.
