Successful Steps to Buying a Home

Work with NHS to Obtain Financing

We Prepare You to Work with a Lender
Next to finding a house, working with a lender to finance your home is the most important step in the home buying process. If you are not prepared, you may be denied financing by your bank. In order to help you prevent the hassle and heartache of loan denial, our staff will help you determine which personal information you will need to submit with your mortgage loan application forms. Although we cannot guarantee loan approval, we can help you gather the documentation necessary for completion of the residential mortgage loan application.

You will need the following:
1.      A copy of your purchase and sale agreement
2.      Two recent pay stubs for all borrowers
3.      Evidence of all other income
4.      Federal tax returns for past two years
5.      Mortgage or rental history for past two years
6.      Bank statements for past three months
7.      Explanation letter for any past credit problems
8.      Account numbers / balances for all credit accounts
